Wavien Inc. located in Valencia California, has launched the Premien ™ line of LED enhancement technologies. The patented advancements provide overall performance improvement on LED chip based platforms.   Premien’s recycling collars and recycling light pipes are the latest technique for increasing system brightness which is desirable for projection based systems.

Premien’s recycling technology provides increased brightness by redirecting wasted high-angle light back to the LED chip face and launching the combination out  of the collar with substantially increased brightness.

Other applications for this technology include tactical flashlights, and ultra-narrow beam MR 16 fixtures, where beam angles of 2 degrees can be achieved.

These efficiency approaches improve the performance for DLP™ and LCOS systems.

Recently at CES in Las Vegas, Wavien demonstrated these LED recycling technologies, as well as the DPR (Dual Parabolic Reflector) using arc lamps. Wavien™ and Premien™ together, provide the next level of performance improvement for a wide variety of illumination needs.
